What is the Best Climate Solutions Award?
The Best Climate Solutions platform run and was updated until December 2018. The archive of projects and solutions that contributed to the platform is still available for consultation on this website.
Through an annual open call, Best Climate Solutions invites and selects innovative projects and actionable ideas from across the world that provide solutions to targeted climate change challenges.
Under the umbrella of the precedent initiative (the Best Climate Practices observatory), five editions of the Award have been organized involving over 180 projects from Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania, and a community of over 14000 users.

The Best Climate Solutions 2018 Award focused on the challenge of “Communicating Climate Change Threats and Opportunities”, and it was organized by CMCC Foundation Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change in partnership with the Festival for the Earth.

How to participate in the Best Climate Solutions Award?
Everyone can participate in the Best Climate Solutions Award. Participation involves four simple steps:
Check the Call for Proposals: make sure your project or idea is in line with the current Call for Proposals and is eligible under the Award’s theme and rules.
Register on the Best Climate Solutions platform: only registered users can submit a proposal on the Best Climate Solutions platform. Before starting your application make sure you have successfully signed up on the Best Climate Solutions registration page.
Submit a proposal: once registered, you will be able to access the entry form, complete your proposal by following the instructions given, and submitting it once perfect.
Vote: after the participants are published on the platform, registered users can rate them and increase their chance of winning. Register on the Best Climate Solutions to give your feedback on the admitted proposals during the online polls.
